These are the terms for using DiveVolt Coach during its pilot. By making an account, you agree to them. They're short on purpose; if anything is unclear, ask.
What it is
A coaching aid: it stores, plays back, measures and shares video of dives. It doesn't score or judge. The measurements (angles, heights, timings, checkpoints) are estimates from one camera and can be wrong, and the app says when it isn't sure. Use them alongside your own eye, not instead of it, and never as the basis for a safety decision.
The pilot
- It's free during the pilot. If that ever changes, you'll be told well ahead, and nothing will be charged without you agreeing.
- It's still being built: features change, and there may be bugs or downtime. Keep your own copy of anything you can't lose (Settings → Download my team's data).
- It's provided as it is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, DiveVolt isn't liable for losses from using it or not being able to.
Your part
- Upload only footage you're allowed to: of your own divers, with their agreement, or elite footage for private comparison within your team.
- Tick a diver's consent box only once they (or, under 18, a parent) have agreed to their footage being shared by link and sent for pose tracking.
- Keep your password to yourself. Invite other coaches with an invite link rather than sharing an account.
- Share links are for the diver they're about. Revoke a link you no longer want open.
- Don't try to get at other teams' data, overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
Your content
Your videos, notes and drawings stay yours. You let DiveVolt store and process them only to run the app for your team (see Privacy). They aren't used for anything else, such as training models, without asking you first.
Ending
You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. An account that breaks these terms may be suspended, after a message to its email address where possible. If the pilot ends, you'll get at least 30 days to download your data first.
